Requirements / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate in Psychology.

  • One year of post-doctorate experience.
  • Experience working with patients with severe and persistent mental illness.

About the Opportunity

The Psychologist will play a crucial role in our Behavioral Health Division, offering care and oversight to adult patients with mental illness. Key Responsibilities:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of post-doctorate experience.
  • Experience working with sex offender populations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expertise in psychological assessments and risk evaluation measures.
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with intellectual disabilities and personality disorders.
  • Strong collaboration skills with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Understanding of the Nebraska Sex Offender Commitment Act and Mental Health Commitment Act.
  • Ability to develop and implement psychological treatment programs and training initiatives.
