This program offers an overview of the World Health Organization’s International Classification of Diseases (ICD); an introduction to the ICD-10-CM set of diagnostic codes that will be required for billing and health information in the U.S. on 10/1/2014; participant opportunity to practice using the new code set; and a preview of ICD-11 which is currently under development. Major changes in DSM-5 are introduced. The relationship of the ICD classification to the DSM classification is discussed and contrasts between the two systems are presented. Download
