ECPs — join us for the live-streamed ECP SPTA Collaborative Meeting via Zoom hosted by the Maine Psychological Association. Join us for a discussion with Diana Prescott, PhD on rural psychology and the unique opportunities and challenges facing early career psychologists practicing in rural communities. In this session we can explore strategies for addressing workforce shortages, expanding access to care, building a successful career, and creating meaningful professional connections while serving diverse rural populations. Q&A along with informal conversation will follow.

Diana Prescott PhD

Dr. Prescott completed her BA at Butler University in psychology and Spanish, her PhD in clinical psychology at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and her predoctoral internship at the IU School of Medicine. Dr. Prescott directs a rural health consulting practice dedicated to the care of women and children. She serves as Federal Advocacy Coordinator for the Maine Psychological Association and the American Psychological Association. Dr. Prescott has presented nationally and internationally on rural integrated care.
