NPA is hosting a three-hour telehealth workshop followed by a social "Meet & Greet" event.

“Telehealth and Your Practice” Workshop —  2:00 – 5:00 pm
Workshop topics include:

  • Telehealth and the Therapeutic Alliance
  • Client satisfaction with telehealth services
  • Important considerations for telepresence
  • Overall effectiveness for telehealth interventions
  • The use of telehealth in Nebraska

This is your opportunity to learn about and discuss psychologists’ experiences with telehealth in Nebraska, and get answers to questions about getting started, billing, etc. This workshop will focus on local, practice issues.  Participants attending this workshop can receive 3 CEs for psychologists (see below). Workshop space is limited!


Meet & Greet Social  —  5:00 – 7:00 pm
Join fellow psychologists, current NPA Board members and others in your profession in discussing issues in psychology, and exchanging ideas and information. Please feel free to bring a guest and join us as we enjoy each other’s company with a little wine, cheese and fun conversation! Workshop attendance is not required. Please RSVP for the Meet & Greet to npa@nebpsych.org.

Learning Objectives:
At the end of this presentation, participants at the workshop will be able to:
1. Evaluate and improve the therapy process during telehealth interventions through utilization of monitoring tools and methods to increase telepresence.
2. Apply patient selection guidelines in their assessment of client suitability for telehealth.
3. Assess and plan for potential legal, ethical, and safety considerations when incorporating telehealth in their practice.
