Perspective Behavioral Health is a private practice with two locations in West Omaha. Our practice serves clients across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. Our growing team of skilled providers is looking to add a post-doctoral fellow(s) in Fall 2026. If you are a new PhD looking to complete a post-doctoral fellowship in the area, please join us for light appetizers on Thursday November 20th 6:30- 8:30 PM to learn more about private practice and get to know our providers.


A fellowship with Perspective Behavioral Health is a unique opportunity for those looking to
expand their skill sets and practice within a work culture that prioritizes both clients and
providers. Fellows can expect to obtain the required clinical hours and supervision from some of Omaha’s local experts in clinical care and training to obtain licensure as a Psychologist in Nebraska. Our practice allows for incredible flexibility with office hours, generous compensation models, and clinical and business skill development unique to post-doctoral training. Fellows in our setting will complete their fellowship with emphasis on direct service including therapy and assessment, while also learning how to build and thrive in a private practice setting.

Office space available with Psychological & Counseling Services, an Omaha-area mental health practice cooperative. We are 5 solo practitioners (2 psychologists, 2 LIMHPs, and an LICSW) looking to add another clinician to share overhead expenses. Monthly average is $900 per person. Equal share will include rent, utilities, cleaning, copier, office phone, Internet, water cooler, group website, and common area maintenance. It will not cover billing, documentation software, marketing/individual websites, or administrative assistant work.


Available space is an interior suite approximately 20’ x 10’, carpeted, adjacent to waiting room. Space may be customizable to your preference, pending landlord approval. Location is near 129th and West Center, central to Millard, Westside, Gretna, and Elkhorn, with proximity to draw clients from across the greater Omaha area. Private setting at rear entrance of building; upstairs tenant is a primary care medical practice and a source of referrals. Psychology Supervisor - Aggression Reduction Program


The psychologist supervisor is responsible for providing clinical oversight of NDCS Aggression Reduction Program.  This position entails working closely with individuals and groups to develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based interventions aimed at preventing violence and promoting positive behavioral change.  Scope of work includes:

  • Guiding staff on the use of standardized process to assess and gather data to develop comprehensive profiles and needs for individuals at risk for violence. 
  • Design and implement individualized and group intervention programs based on best practices for violence reduction. 
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create holistic approaches that address underlying issues contributing to violent behavior. 
  • Collect and analyze data related to program outcomes, making adjustments as needed to improve efficacy. 
  • Psychological testing and evaluation.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate in Psychology with a psychologist license by the Nebraska Department of Health.  Required clinical internship plus one year experience as a licensed psychologist with management experience required. 

Preferred Qualifications: Subject matter experience preferred. 

Other:  Proof of licensure required upon acceptance of a job offer. Must submit to a security background check. Applicants accepting a job offer must pass the pre-employment medical exam and a drug test. Once employed, all incumbents must successfully complete the fully paid Nebraska Department of Correctional Services pre-service training program.
