Dr. Davis currently works in private practice in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Until January of 2014 she also worked part-time at the Panhandle Mental Health Center (PMHC), Nebraska’s first community mental health center. She obtained these positions following her graduation from the University of Denver’s Graduate School of Professional Psychology in August, 2010. She became fully licensed to practice in Nebraska in June, 2012, and has also obtained a license to practice in Colorado. 

Dr. Davis provides therapy and assessment services to individuals and families. A few of her clinical interests include multicultural issues, psychology and the law, and the functions of humor. Since moving to the panhandle she has presented on Working with Sexual Minorities (LGBT populations) and Stress Management Skills for young mothers. Her doctoral research examined empirically-based training recommendations for the use of humor in therapy. Her counseling approach is integrative, incorporating elements of cognitive behavioral treatment with psychodynamic, existential, humanistic, systemic, and dialectical concepts and interventions.
